In the early hours of November 13, 2022, a man broke into an off-campus house at the University of Idaho and stabbed four students to death. On December 30, 2022, 28-year-old Bryan Kohberger, a PhD student in criminology, was arrested and charged with four counts of murder in the first degree, and one count of felony burglary.
