Ken and Kendra discuss Hulu’s Pen15 with a call in from our number one fan from the Boston branch, Hannah Gagnon. We give absolutely zero intro information on Pen15, but it’s a show set deeply in the early 2000s telling the story of two friends who are in middle school.
The whole team deeply relates to the show and are big fans of what Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine have made! AIM what a messy place for predators and friends. We also relive our middle school best friendships and really explore how the show mirrors life so closely that it's sometimes hard to watch.
We once again didn’t do a connection to Peri Gilpin, mostly because the show is mostly cast with 12 year olds. But Richard Kern is in Pen15 and we would love for you to call in and find us the connection between Peri and him.
