German tourists hitchhiking around Western Canada, Andrea Scherpf and Bernd Göricke, accept a lift with someone who would go on to murder them on a lonely trail in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Almost 40 years and three trials later, the double murder remains unsolved.
