🇻🇳 July, 1969. 19 year old Australian singer Cathy Wayne is shot dead on stage while performing for troops at a military base near Da Nang, Vietnam. The conflict in Vietnam was raging at an all-time high, and the young performer became the first and only Australian woman to be murdered during the war, seemingly by an enlisted US soldier. The identity of that soldier has never officially been discovered. Over half a century later, the murder of Cathy Wayne remains unsolved.
