The fans and drivers have spoken and F1 has listened. They’ve announced updates to the new rules ahead of the Miami Grand Prix.

But what do the super technical updates actually mean? Should you need an engineering degree to understand your favourite sport? Will they take us back to "real racing"? Will it be safer for drivers after Ollie Bearman's 190mph crash? And are these tweaks enough to stop Max Verstappen leaving F1?
