Marine Wife BEFORE & AFTER War 🇺🇸

This week’s episode on Urban Valor features former spouse of a U.S. Marine Corps war veteran, Gissela Delery. Gissela met her former spouse while in high school. She speaks about the personality her ex-husband had before going to war and the changes she noticed upon him returning home from combat. Military spouses often go unnoticed yet end up having to navigate some heavy emotions from their significant others, which is clearly voiced in this interview.

Combat effects more than just the Veteran themself. Often spouses, kids, parents, friends, colleagues, and more see changes in the person they knew previous to war. In this episode of Urban Valor, Gissela speaks of the results of her husband's sacrifice and how it affected their relationship and future.
