Jonny Lieberman on Automotive Blog Origins, Performance EV’s and Why Cadillac is Cool

We’re happy to welcome Jonny Lieberman to the garage for this special episode!  Jonny and Scotto go way back to their early journalism days and talk about how the birth of the automotive blog helped shape the way the auto industry is covered today.  Jonny is a highly acclaimed writer and has worked for many notable publications including Autoblog, Jalopnik and Motor Trend.  He has a truly unique perspective on the current state of automotive media and shares some great stories from his career in the industry.  Scotto and Jonny also do a deep dive into the state of EV’s in the US, why the market seems to be cooling a bit and what the future may have in store for electric vehicles and their place in car culture.  They also discuss how Cadillac is quietly making some great cars that don’t seem to get quite the attention they deserve.  They discuss everything from their fondness for overlanding to their takes on performance EV’s and who’s doing them the best.  Maybe Porsche..?  It’s a great conversation!
