"Call me for a ride. Call me, Call me anytime," is the main hook from "Call Me," by 80s pop rock band, Blondie. This song was written as the main theme for this week's film, AMERICAN GIGOLO (1980), a story about a high-class male escort who finds himself amidst a suspicious murder investigation. Writer/Director Paul Schrader's film guided us through discussions of emotional vulnerability, physical intimacy, the commoditizing of love, and of course... sex. So cover me with kisses or cover me with likes and shares. Either way, it's gonna be an interesting ride.
