#85: Are Whiskey Notes Real Or Bogus?

Are whiskey reviewers such as myself truly tasting all of the things we say? Could it be the case that everyone's palate is so different that it isn't even worth discussing whisky notes? With a growing online debate about the reality of whiskey notes or flavors, I wanted to sit down and give my take, along with an example review of Monkey Shoulder Blended Scotch Whisky.
