Gender Identity, Biblical Womanhood, & Girly Girls

Jackie never considered herself a "girly girl," or whatever that means. She, like many women, found themselves being labeled a "tom boy" or "masculine" because she didn't wear purses and the like. These words were spoken by people who never had a biblical framework for how to understand gender in the first place.
