Ustadha Dalya Ayoub holds a BA in political science from the University of Auckland, New Zealand, she earned a Masters degree with honours in Islamic studies from Charles Sturt University, Australia and is currently a PhD candidate in Tafsir and Qur’an Sciences at Al Madina international university, Malaysia, where she’s researching “Women revival in the Qur’an”.
Ustadha Dalya has an ijaza in Quran recitation, she has also studied various religious sciences including theology, Seerah and women’s rights within Islamic law. She teaches an online halaqah of 1000 students globally. Her work is focused on empowering Muslims to re-connect with the Quran as their manhaj for success, through study circles, workshops, leadership conferences, hifdh intensives and Quran retreats.
Ustadha Dalya has won numerous awards including Muslim role model of the year (Australia 2017) and People’s choice award (Australia 2019). She has been working in non-profit organisations for over 20 years and served as an executive on multiple boards and is currently working with Qawafil, a Gaza-based charity organisation that serves those most in need.
