Child of God

'Child of God' was written by Niles Borop, Mike Speck and Michael Harland. 'Child of God' is skillfully combined with the classic hymn 'Hold To God's Unchanging Hand' written by F.L. Eiland and Jennie Wilson. This medley creates a core message that moves from identity (because I am a Child of God), to security (I can confidently Hold to His Unchanging Hand despite life's uncertainties).

The Verse to 'Child of God' says it this way...

Lost and wand'ring in a world of sin

Why would God ever take me in?

A cry rang out from Calv'ry's blood-stained hill...

"Child, I love you, and I always will".

'Child of God' is ONE of the songs released from a project entitled 'The Cross Said It All'. This project was Arranged and Orchestrated by Lari Goss and the audio recording was produced by WORD Music.

The Chorus to 'Child of God' gives us great hope for tomorrow...

Child of God...do not be afraid;

Child of God...trust and obey.

He will walk with you in the way.

Child of God...do not be afraid.

Then the lyrics to 'Hold to God's Unchanging Hand' brings encouragement...

Just hold to His Hand...to God's Unchanging Hand.

Oh...Hold to God's Unchanging Hand.

Build your hopes on things eternal.

Child of God...do not be afraid.
