The Lord Is My Strength

'The Lord Is My Strength' was written by Dennis Jernigan. This great song is deeply anchored in the biblical story of God delivering His people when they are completely powerless.

The First Verse tells the story of Daniel when it says...

Remember Daniel in the lion's den?

He was there for he would not bow to men

There's no doubt or denyin'

God shut up the mouth of the lion

When He heard His servant cry.

The Second Verse to 'The Lord Is My Strength' says it this way...

Remember we were all dead in our sins?

My sins were buried when Lord Jesus rose again!

When Satan comes like a flood

Cry out to Him Who shed His own blood

That we might reign with Him on High!

'The Lord Is My Strength' is ONE of the songs released from a project entitled 'We Will Worship'. This project was Arranged and Orchestrated by J. Daniel Smith and the audio recording was produced by WORD Music.

The CHORUS to this great song lets us lift our voice and proclaim...

The Lord is my strength

The Lord in His power is my strength day by day and every hour!
