There's Never Been a Mountain

'There's Never Been a Mountain' was written by Niles Borop, John Rowsey and John Starnes. This great song is established in the teamwork of songwriting veterans who wanted to write a song specifically focused on the absolute, unshakable power of God over any obstacle...a joyful, steadfast song of faith that could be sung during difficult times.

'There's Never Been a Mountain' is ONE of the songs released from a project entitled 'The Anchor Holds'. This project was Arranged and Orchestrated by Lari Goss and the audio recording was produced by WORD Music.

The Verse to 'There's Never Been a Mountain' says it this way...

Have you ever been down...looking up with no hope

Sitten' on the bottom at the end of your rope?

There's never been a better time to call on God's name

To stand up and speak to the mountain and march on in faith!

And then this great Chorus answers back...

There's never been a mountain that the Lord could not move it

There's never been a single thing that God could not do it

Just when you think you've finally reached the end

There's gonna' be a victory like there's never been!

Rather than crafting a song about trials as a gloomy ballad, the writers purposely inspired it with a joyful, high-energy rhythm. This stylistic choice was meant to represent triumph over the mountain before the mountain even moves.
