Byar is convinced that the Darkfriend Perrin is responsible for their betrayal. We believe he may be under compulsion and go over our evidence. Niall orders Carridin to keep Rand alive, explains his plan to use the 'False Dragon', and assures Carridin that if he or the Dragon dies during this risky plan, so will Carridin. When Carridin returns to his quarters, there is a Fade waiting for him.
