Wheel of Time Spoilers 130 - TDR - Ch31 The Woman of Tanchico

Mat wanders into the common room of an inn, and it just so happens that there is a gleeman name Thom Merrilin playing there. Thom is still mourning the death of his lover Dena, and he's hammered drunk. We'll spend some time talking about Rand's complex family tree, members of the nobility that Thom has assassinated, how some of those events have created civil war and general chaos in Cairhien, and spend a bit of time reading Thom's lines with our best drunk old man impersonations. Mat eats three chickens while convincing Thom to come with him to Caemlyn. Thom only agrees to go because he knows he'll be risking his life, and that suits his dark mood. Sheep gutted milk drinking in the after-show.
