Wheel of Time Spoilers 144 - TDR - Ch45 Caemlyn & Ch46 A Message Out of the Shadow

Mat and Thom arrive in Caemlyn. Mat seems very impressed by it's scale, and maybe more so by it's wealth. Thom of course, heads straight to the Queen's Blessing, but Mat rides to the palace eager to be rid of Elayne's letter to Morgase. Mat sneaks through the Palace's gardens and right up to some occupied rooms, while waiting for a guard to walk past him, he overhears two men speaking about Egwene, Nynaeve, and Elayne. One is instructing the other to assassinate the hunters three. Just as he is considering walking into one of the doors, Tallanvor, one of Morgase's last loyal men, steps out of it. How lucky for Mat Cauthon.
