We start today with thanking Patreons and discussing the updated WoT map, and from there we take a cinematic zoom down to a cabin in a ship in a fleet, in which the Daughter of the Nine Moons makes her first appearance on the page! This is the introduction of a trifecta of interesting characters (Tuon, Selucia, and Semirhage) as well as an onramp to Mat’s impending return from under the wall. Seth and Aradia disagree about the veracity of Seanchan omen-seeking, while enjoying the depth of Seanchan lore that is dropped in this short chapter.
