Jeanine Cook-Garard talks about the traumatic events that happen to kids before the ages of 18 with Roberta Waite, Professor & Assistant Dean of Academic Integration and Evaluation of Community Programs in the Doctoral Nursing Department at Drexel University, and Ruth Ann Ryan, a Board Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist, and a Psycho-education Training Specialist, with the Healing Hurt People Program, in the Center for Non-Violence and Social Justice at Drexel University College of Medicine. Both are co-authors of the book “Adverse Childhood Experiences: What Students and Health Professionals Need To Know.”
