Dr. Jeanine Cook-Garard learns about lung cancer - the leading cause of cancer deaths on Long Island and throughout the U.S. In an effort to end lung cancer, the American Lung Association launched its first ever “LUNG FORCE WALK LONG ISLAND” at Eisenhower Park this past October. Her guests are Michael Seilback, the National Assistant Vice President of State Public Policy for the American Lung Association, and Nicole Sturiano – a resident of Ridge here on Long Island – who lost her sister Jeanine to lung cancer at 42 years old.
