Welcome to Additional Crew, the spoiler-heavy review show where we choose whatever random film we want to talk about. This episode we bring to you ”A soldier trained from birth is deemed obsolete and dumped on a waste planet where he is reluctantly taken in by a community of defenseless, stranded wayfarers.” I am of course talking about Paul WS Anderson’s Sci-fi action film Soldier from 1998. A movie completely destroyed by critics on release and a massive flop, the movie seems to be having a resurgence. Does it earn a spot amongst the better action films of the late 90s?
