Electro House BackSpin 2024: Millennial Dance Classics Vol. 3

Electro House mixtape BackSpin 2024 Volume 3 revisits Millennial dance club hits from roughly 2005–2006, stitching together big-room remixes, rock-dance crossovers, and singalong anthems for a three-hour club ride. The set aims to capture the era’s club-floor DNA — the Thin White Duke take on The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside,” Axwell’s Electro House flip of Roger Sanchez, and the early David Guetta outings that began reshaping pop-dance crossover. Highlights include Bob Sinclar’s singalong anthems and the Martijn Ten Velden DJ-friendly remix of “Perfect (Exceeder),” while Peter Rauhofer’s Progressive-to-Electro reworks for Christina Aguilera, Seal, and Nelly Furtado underscore how remixes dominated the charts. You’ll also find Freemasons’ sleek club edits and Cascada’s cleavage of hard-dance energy with “Everytime We Touch,” all sequenced to close on Madonna’s “Sorry” and leave the floor wanting more. This volume sits alongside Party Favorz’s broader Millennial Dance Classics collection and the Top Dance Songs 2000–2009 playlists for anyone digging deeper into early-millennium club history.
