Om avsnittet
Frankenstein by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley — Letter 3
Walton sends a hurried reassurance from the Arctic seas: he is safe, in good spirits, and steadily advancing into increasingly dangerous waters. Ice, rough weather, and even a broken mast have done little to shake the resolve of the crew, though Walton knows the voyage may keep him from England for years. He promises Margaret that ambition will not make him reckless.
