Frankenstein - Preface | Mary Wollstonecraft Shelly | Audiobook

Frankenstein by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley — Preface

Before the story begins, Shelley explains the imaginative premise behind Frankenstein and why she believed an extraordinary work of fiction could still illuminate genuine human passions. She also recalls the circumstances in which the story began, from a cold, rainy summer near Geneva to a friendly challenge to write a tale founded on the supernatural.
