Pastor Mike is progressing thru the study of 1 Peter. Today we look at the passion of "Love and Hate" that God has for people and likewise for the sin in people. Why is it important to understand sin? Because it is the thing that separates Man from God. To understand how much God hates sin, we must first appreciate how much God loves man. God created a world of perfection for man to enjoy for all generations and because of the choice man made to sin, this perfect creation and the God - Man relationship was broken. It required Jesus, the Son of God to become a man and suffer and die as He did as payment for sin's choice to re-established the opportunity for man to have relationship with God our Father once again.
