We have been speaking of offenses between people and even with God as being negative and leading to spiritual death if not dealt with properly... Today we are going to speak of the "offense" that leads to life! Is that possible that something that would be offensive would lead to eternal life? Yes, the Good News that Jesus brought to the world is very offensive to the worldly system that Satan established as a result of sin in the Garden so many thousands of years ago. The world is offended by the word of Jesus's truth... That's pretty easy to understand... But we also find that Jesus also offended his own disciples and close followers and many left Him as well because He continued to challenge them on how they view the offense of the Gospel...
