Overcoming Barriers to Friendship with God (Matthew 1:20-23) | Michael Rowntree

It's Christmas Eve! In this special episode, Michael Rowntree takes us through Matthew 1:2-23, exploring the name "Immanuel" and what it means that God became "God with us."

Michael unpacks the three barriers God overcame in Jesus—the barriers of sin, geography, and humanity—to offer us friendship with Him. Through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, we find a daily reprieve from exile and an eternal hope.

Join us as Michael challenges us to embrace this friendship, share it with others, and deepen our connection to Christ through His mission.
