The God of Reason and Reasonableness (Acts 19:21-40) | Michael Rowntree

In this episode, Michael Rowntree explores Acts 19:21–40, where a riot breaks out in Ephesus over the growing influence of the gospel. As Paul prepares to travel to Jerusalem and Rome, opposition arises from Demetrius the silversmith, who incites a mob out of fear that their idol-based economy is under threat. Michael unpacks the spiritual clash between light and darkness, highlighting how the gospel challenges both cultural idolatry and the worship of wealth. Join us as we consider what it looks like to follow Jesus boldly while navigating opposition with wisdom, peace, and the power of the Spirit.Video clip of Ben Stein and Richard Dawkins: https://youtu.be/BoncJBrrdQ8?t=1
