As we end 2021 and crash - groan - stumble - leap - into an uncertain 2022 I have less of a vision of any new year than I’ve ever had. Every occasion navigated successfully feels like dodging 8 lanes of traffic. The utter hubris of making plans seems finally clear. But I’m an optimist by nature, world lover by choice, diner by design: I won’t make predictions because who would even attempt that but I will say what I’m wondering about 2022.
