3. Keyvan Chemarani is an acclaimed French-Iranian percussionist. His new album, Tales of Nar, focuses on his intereste in finding a common language among different tradtions and cultures, here exploring Persian and Indian traditions through the ens of jazz and contemporary classical music.

4. The Ize Trio and their Global Prayer album has been rated by reviewer Thierry de Clemensat as one that "may become one of the defining jazz albums of 2026".

7. Monty Alexander has recorded his lovely tune Skamento before. But I really like this version of it, from an upcoming released called A Jamarican in Paris.

8. Stephen Emmer's Asymmetrical Dot is like an exercise in minimalism. Or is it? On this track he collaborates with Beth Hirsch from the group "Air".

9. The episode ends with a young Canadian clarinetist who is starting to make a big name for herself. Virginia MacDonald from an album called In Search of Virginia MacDonald.
