Destiny McClain: A Drive-By Shooting, No Leads, No Arrest

On July 18, 2021, 23-year-old Destiny McClain was standing outside a food truck near Karamba Nightclub in Phoenix, Arizona when gunfire erupted into a crowd. Destiny was struck in the chest and later died from her injuries.
Witnesses reported seeing a vehicle speed away from the scene, and surveillance cameras captured a dark-colored four-door sedan leaving the area shortly after the shooting. But because Arizona vehicles are not required to have front license plates, investigators were unable to identify the car. More than three years later, Destiny’s murder remains unsolved.
