Boad Swanson: Who I Was Had To Die
Om avsnittet
Boad Swanson grew up believing in God, but for years, his life moved further and further away from Him.
After chasing ambition, adventure, and a faster life, Boad found himself in Washington, D.C., successful on the outside but increasingly lost on the inside. Then one cold, rainy night, he walked through a park and asked out loud, “What am I going to do with my life?”
Moments later, two missionaries walked toward him.
That encounter became the beginning of a complete change in direction, one that eventually led Boad to a mission at age 26, marriage and family, serving as a bishop, and writing his book, Great Souled Men.
In this episode, we talk about what happens when God feels silent, why getting lost can sometimes be part of finding Him, and how the hardest chapters can become the wisdom we eventually give back to others.
Boad’s story is a reminder that God can be working long before we recognize His hand, and sometimes the life we thought was falling apart is actually making room for something new.
