I Can't Focus When I Pray (and I finally know why)

okay so this one came out of a bedtime routine.. i caught myself timing how fast we could get the boys down and the Lord stopped me with one thought: ten years from now you won't regret the slow nights, you'll regret the rushed ones 🤍

and then it got personal.. because if i'm rushing bedtime with my boys, i'm probably rushing my time with the Father too. this episode is about why we get so distracted the second we try to pray, why that resistance is a compass and not a stop sign, and what Jesus was really saying in the parable of the sower about the thorns that quietly choke out the fruit in your life.

if you feel like your thoughts about God keep getting crowded out by everything else.. this one's for you.
