here's the truth i can't shake: a life led by the Holy Spirit leads you into life and peace.. but not always ease. the same Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness. He'll lead you into war with your flesh and into character that only hard seasons can grow.. and He also leads you into freedom from fear and shame, the confidence of being chosen and adopted as His heir, and a hope nothing on this earth can hold. if following Jesus feels harder than you expected right now.. you're not doing it wrong.

🔎 i asked y'all to fact-check me on the adoption part, so here it is.. the practice i described is Roman adoption (the world Paul was writing to), not Levitical law. and yes, it's real: a Roman father could legally adopt an heir, even a grown man, who then had the exact same inheritance rights as a biological son.
