Hiring Moms is Actually a Really Good Idea ft. Caissie Levy

Caissie Levy won a Tony Award this year after more than two decades on Broadway. The speech went viral — not because of who she thanked, but because of who she didn't forget. The babysitters. The young women who traveled with her, lived with her family, and loved her kids when she couldn't be there. It was the most honest thing said on that stage all night.

In this episode, Caissie gets real about what it takes to build a life on Broadway while raising two kids — the schedule that keeps you from bedtime six nights a week, the moment she walked away from a new show because her son needed her, and why becoming a mom made her better at her job, not worse.

In this episode:

- Why Caissie thanked the babysitters at the Tonys — and what they actually meant to her career

- The Broadway schedule nobody talks about and what it costs you as a mom

- The moment she chose her son over a new show — and what happened next

- How motherhood made her braver, not more cautious, in her career

- Why the heartbreak and the joy of being a working mom always seem to show up at the same time
