The Corpse Cast Episode 381 - The Muses of Jess Franco

Dive into the shadowy, psychedelic underbelly of Euro-horror with your host Mike Cadaver and his electrifying co-host Matt Wall in this spine-tingling episode of The Corpse Cast! For the first time on the show, Matt Wall—cult film aficionado and self-proclaimed "Franco fanatic"—joins Mike to dissect the enigmatic genius of Jess Franco, the prolific Spanish auteur whose boundary-pushing films blurred the lines between eroticism, surrealism, and outright depravity.

The focus for this episode is on Franco's muses, the ethereal Soledad Miranda, whose tragic beauty lit up Vampyros Lesbos before her untimely death at 27, and the fearless Lina Romay, Franco's real-life partner and on-screen siren who fearlessly embodied raw sensuality in over 100 of his fever-dream productions including Female Vampire.
