Matthew 22:1-14 — The Parable of the Wedding Banquet (Ep.060), A. Twentieth Sunday after Pentecost

Jesus tells a parable about a king who has a wedding banquet for his son. In this episode we discuss how many of those invited refuse to come and the king has his servants go out and invite “the bad as well as the good”. We then look at why the king throws one person out into the darkness just because he was not wearing the proper wedding clothes. What does that mean? Finally we look at the final verse “for many are invited, but few are chosen”. Thank you for listening to The Easy English Bible Study Podcast.
