TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:

Psalm 113:4–6

The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens! [5] Who is like the LORD our God, who is seated on high, [6] who looks far down on the heavens and the earth? (ESV)

SUMMARY

We ground our evening mindset in Psalm 113 and let it expand our view of who God is. We move from admiration of human legacy to awe at the daily gift of God’s presence made possible through Jesus Christ.

• Psalm 113:4–6 as a lens for worship and perspective before sleep
• Why we honor family legacy, leaders, and historical figures
• The invitation to God’s presence as greater than any human encounter
• “Who is like the Lord our God?” as the core question of awe
• Jesus as the way to the Father and the doorway to oneness with God
• Comfort, favor, and belonging as we rest tonight

So, friends, take a moment this evening as you prepare yourself for rest to think about the great blessing of himself that God has given you through your faith in Jesus.
