Episode 200 - Obsession (2026)

Welcome back to the Horror Project Podcast! This week, Laura and Phil are reviewing Obsession (2026).

Bear, a lonely music store employee, stumbles across a mysterious supernatural toy that promises to grant his heart's deepest desire: making his childhood friend Nikki finally fall in love with him. What could possibly go wrong? As it turns out... absolutely everything.

And it's a very special episode because we're celebrating our 200th episode of the podcast! After 200 horror movies, countless scares, the big question remains: has Laura become any braver? The evidence may surprise you...

We chat about the temptation of getting everything you wish for, why forcing love is always a terrible idea, and just how far someone might go to escape the dreaded friend zone.

Along the way, we follow Bear and the wonderfully "Freaky Nikki" through a whirlwind romance that's equal parts sweet, creepy, and catastrophically doomed. Expect supernatural chaos, shocking scares, and a healthy dose of heartbreak.

Thank you for joining us for 200 episodes of horror, laughs, and good times. We couldn't have done it without you!
