Beirut 1948: The Palestinian Exodus That Remade Lebanon
In 1948, as the Nakba unfolded across Palestine, over 100,000 Palestinian refugees streamed into Lebanon — a country of barely 1.3 million people. This episode traces how that forced migration reshaped Lebanon's fragile sectarian balance, economy, and politics for decades to come.
