80s Dance Remixed: Fall Throwback 2023 Volume 2

This episode is an 80s-focused Fall Throwback (2023 Volume 2), a three-hour set of dance-ready remixes and nu-disco/house reworks aimed at club floors and nostalgia playlists alike. Party Favorz leans on late 70s and 80s source material while assembling modern producers who turn familiar hooks into fresh, danceable arrangements. Highlights include Block & Crown opening with a house-leaning Driver's Seat and their cheeky Swingin Sultan (a Dire Straits rework), Disco Gurls' charged take on Tina Turner's The Best titled U're Simply The Best, plus collaborative turns from GhostMasters and The GrooveBand that rethink My Sharona, Hungry Eyes and other era staples. Ghostbusterz and The Soul Gang add vocal heft across several mixes, and a few mashups and soundalike performances sit alongside originals — roughly half the set uses original vocals. If you like your throwbacks club-ready, this volume stitches familiar melodies into steady dancefloor momentum without losing the originals' spirit.
