Karan Mahajan is an Indian-American novelist, essayist, and critic. His second novel, The Association of Small Bombs, was named one of the 10 best books of the year by the New York Times Book Review. It won the Muse India Young Writer Award and was a finalist for the National Book Award, the crossword Book Award, and the DSC Prize for South Asian literature, among other honors. His debut novel, Family Planning, was a finalist for the Dylan Thomas Prize.
