S17 Ep886: Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004)

“They’re making sure you got every dumb detail of that first movie” - Andrew on the opening flashback

On this week’s show, we’re chatting about the second entry in the massively successful sci-fi horror franchise, Resident Evil: Apocalypse!

How janky is the CGI on those Licker monsters in the church? How hard is it to say ‘Raccoon City’ with a straight face? Shouldn’t the Raccoon City News be hosted by cute, little raccoons? How many people remembered the story from the first game? And could Nemesis have pulled it off working for MI6? PLUS: The season 17 start of the VHS Trailer Game!

Resident Evil: Apocalypse stars Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Oded Fehr, Thomas Kretschmann, Sophie Vavasseur, Raz Adoti, Mike Epps, Sandrine Holt, Matthew G. Taylor, Zack Ward, Iain Glen, and Jared Harris as Dr. Ashford; directed by Alexander Witt.
