Eucharistic Faith

How can we become more deeply transformed by the Eucharist and radiate Christ to those around us? In this meditation, Fr. Paul Donlan reflects on the Eucharist as the sacrament of love, sign of unity, bond of charity, and source of grace, emphasizing the Real Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. He encourages us to approach the Eucharist with greater faith and devotion, sharing the striking story of dogs recognizing the presence of Christ in a seminary chapel and comparing our response to that of Mary carrying Jesus to Elizabeth. After receiving Holy Communion, we become, in a sense, "walking tabernacles," carrying Christ into our families, workplaces, and communities, where His presence can radiate through us and draw others toward consolation and guidance. Fr. Paul encourages frequent or daily Communion when possible, along with spiritual communion when sacramental Communion is unavailable, and concludes by urging us to become truly Eucharistic souls who bring Christ to a world that needs Him.
