Welcome to ’60 Minutes or less’ - A podcast from Birthday Cake For Breakfast. It’s a treat to feature a special bonus episode, as we welcome back Andrew Falkous of Mclusky and Future of the Left!

Originally appearing on the podcast for Episode 37, Falkous returns for what is a regular feature on Birthday Cake For Breakfast - ‘a/s/l’ - which is basically one of those ‘how much is a pint of milk?’ endeavours you used to find in magazines. 

The latest Mclusky record ‘i sure am getting sick of this bowling alley’ was released in spring 2026 via Ipecac Recordings. As for Future of the Left, they will be on tour in early 2027 in celebration of 20 years of the album ‘curses’. But we don’t talk about any of that. Instead, I caught up with Andrew over Zoom in April 2026 to quiz him on egg based allergies, happy crying, a love of Queen and The Karate Kid Part II, as well as the recent-ish Mclusky tour of the USA.
