Race to World First - The Venomous Abyss

Episode 150 | This week, we're getting ready for the Race to World First as the gates of The Venomous Abyss open!

We'll take a look at all eight bosses waiting inside the new raid before turning our attention to the Race itself. Liquid has won four straight Race to World First events, but can anyone finally knock them off the top spot?

We'll also take a bigger look at what the Race to World First has become. It's one of the biggest events in World of Warcraft, yet it's still entirely organized and funded by the guilds themselves. Has Mythic raiding become balanced around a competition that technically doesn't exist? Should Blizzard take a bigger role in the Race? And would making it an official E-Sport actually make things better, or ruin what makes the Race special?

Plus, we cover the latest WoW news, including Midnight Season 2 class tuning, changes to Sparks, the upcoming Patch 12.1.5 PTR, player housing blueprints, and more.
