Electro House 00s Dance Classics: Back Spin Volume 1 (2013)

This is a 00s dance-music throwback: Back Spin Volume 1 (2013) is an electro/EDM megamix built from older System Edition sets as a focused look at past hits and underground gems. Party Favorz stitches house, progressive, tech, and trance into a continuous 1:38:38 set that balances familiar club anthems with deeper, lesser-known cuts. Highlights include Harry "Choo Choo" Romero’s Bambossa take on Hardrive’s “Deep Inside,” the Angello/Axwell/Ingrosso & Laidback Luke cut with Deborah Cox, Nadia Ali’s “Love Story” (Andy Moor vocal), The Ian Carey Project’s “Get Shaky” (Vandalism mix), Niels Van Gogh’s Pulverturm 3.0 update, and Meck’s “Windmills.” The host dug through six System Edition mixes from 2007–2009, pulled roughly 25 candidates and trimmed to 19 tracks, a tedious but rewarding process that might seed a recurring Back Spin series focused on EDM hits and misses.
