TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE:
Colossians 1:13–14
[13] He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, [14] in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (ESV)
SUMMARY
We reflect on the promise that God delivers us from darkness and transfers us into the kingdom of his Son, then apply that truth to pain, regret, and daily life. We end with a simple prayer for comfort, strength, and hope for tomorrow.
• facing real wounds without minimizing them
• naming the deeper darkness of not knowing Jesus
• receiving redemption and the forgiveness of sins
• living as citizens of heaven now
• letting hope reshape work, choices and relationships
• inviting others into the kingdom of light
• praying for comfort and strength for tomorrow
Thank you, Jesus. Comfort us, remind us, strengthen us with these truths that our day tomorrow can be one that is lived with hope in you and what you've done
