Daniel 2:20–21

Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. [21] He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; (ESV)

SUMMARY

We reflect on Daniel 2 and find solid ground in God’s wisdom and sovereignty when life feels out of control. We pray for steady hearts, clear minds, and a restful night anchored in God’s unchanging rule.

• blessing God whose wisdom and might hold all things
• God changing times and seasons
• God removing and setting up kings
• nothing outside God’s notice or control
• seeking divine wisdom for pressing decisions
• hope rooted in God’s character, not outcomes
• prayer for security, strength and righteous rest
