SUMMARY

We slow down with Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:9 and let “Our Father in heaven” reshape how we picture God when we pray. We explore how reverence and closeness belong together as we seek real rest with our minds fixed on a mighty Father.

• sitting with Jesus’ opening words of prayer from Matthew 6:9 
• relating to God as Spirit while trusting Him as Father 
• adoption into God’s family through faith in Jesus 
• defining hallowed as honored and revered 
• honoring God’s name through desires motivations and daily life 
• using quiet reflection to calm the mind before sleep 
Meditate on that as the music plays. 
Ponder those thoughts as you prepare yourself for rest.
